Athina Villas - Elounda (Crete)

Altogether a perfect choice in a peaceful setting. Excellent price, met requests. Location right opposite to the ferry to Spinaloga. And right by nearby Elounda or Agios Nikolaos, the Plaka beach and Spinalonga Island and many taverns and supermarket and nice restaurants:)))

Its location was magnificent and absolutely perfect, 5 minutes walk away from Plaka. We loved amiable and super-friendly staff and host. We could enjoy views of the sea and Spinalonga.

We absolutely loved our romantic escape at this hotel. the spacious and well-equipped room was perfect for a cozy getaway. the view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially during sunset. the location was ideal, with easy access to nearby beaches, restaurants, and mini marts. We particularly enjoyed the convenience of having a small cafe right in front of the hotel, where we could grab a quick breakfast or lunch. the staff were lovely and attentive, making us feel right at home.

Honestly, there was nothing worth mentioning that we disliked about our stay. If we had to pick one thing, it would be great to have a pool on the premises, especially after long walks.

The owner was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about the area when we arrived. He had also texted us to check our arrival time. There was a small kitchen which gives guests more flexibility and there was complimentary water and orange drink. It is very close to the island of Spinalonga as well as several beaches. If you want to relax away from hordes of tourists, this is a great spot.

No internet access. As the owner is not on site, your phone needs to be working.

Always willing to help. 2) The room was clean and tidy with all necessary comforts. 3) There is near to the rooms a free parking and has always parking space. 4) The location is very good in the center of the village, there are shops and caffes around. 5) The price was excellent.

What we enjoyed about Athina Villas was Manolis. His hospitality and kindness made our trip fantastic. The apartment was a great size. Nice to have an actual sitting area. The patio over looking the ocean was lovely. And the local restaurant 2 doors down served great food. The price was definitely nice.

Could use a few more things in the kitchen (only had a ladle to use when cooking, no cutting board or veggie peeler). These are simple things. No other complaints.

Very nice accommodation, well located, especially for youngsters. The owner is very polite and provided everything we wanted. Although centrally located the villas are very quiet. Very good value for money.

The size of the villa is quite small for big adults.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. George, our airport transfer, was friendly and knowledgeable, and Manolis, the owner, gave us a free upgrade to a stunning two-bedroom apartment with a private balcony and breathtaking views of Spinalonga. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the charming village of Plaka, with easy access to the bus stop and a pleasant walk to Elounda. The apartments were typically Greek, clean and spacious, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The snack bar attached to the apartments was a great bonus, serving delicious breakfasts, smoothies, snacks, and ice-cold beers. The whole staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making sure our every need was met. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we can't wait to come back. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

Would love to stay here again, it's a super base for a short stay. It has comfortable and cosy rooms and amazing location near to mini market, tavern-restaurants and bar, Agios Nikolaos, and the centre of the lovely village of Plaka. The bed is exceptionally comfortable.

I was really surprised by Athina Villas in Elounda. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The villa itself was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a spacious living area. I loved the fact that there was a mini market nearby, making it convenient to pick up any essentials. And the best part of my stay was the warm and friendly welcome I received from the owner, Manolis. He was attentive and went out of his way to ensure I had a great experience. I highly recommend Athina Villas for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Elounda.

We had an really good stay at this lovely accommodation in the village of Plaka. The studio apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The owner, Manolis, was very hospitable and even gave us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The location was perfect, with easy access to tavernas, supermarkets, and the beach. The shady tree by the cafe was a good spot to relax. we highly recommend Athina Villas for a visit to Crete.

We had a fantastic stay at the beautiful Athina Villas. The apartment had a large balcony with fine sea views, and the spacious living area made our stay very comfortable. The cafe downstairs served delicious breakfast and the best coffee. The location was perfect, with the beach, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. We were sad to leave this wonderful place, but we will definitely be back next year. I highly recommend this hotel for a great vacation experience.

The apartment at Athina Villas was perfect for our holiday. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and having a washer/dryer was so convenient. The LCD TV with satellite channels was great for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The separate bedrooms provided privacy, and the air conditioning kept us cool during the hot summer days. Plus, the bathroom had a hairdryer, which saved us from packing one!

Personally, I didn't love the location of the apartment. It was a bit far from Agios Nikolaos Archaeological Museum and Lake Voulismeni.
